Covered bridges of Montana — a state with no surviving 19th-century covered spans (three historic Bitterroot Valley bridges were lost to flooding over the years), but two modern truss bridges near Bozeman keep the tradition alive: a private 1980 span and a community-built memorial bridge over Bridger Creek.
