Alaska

Alaska once had seven covered bridges built within an eight-year span, but none survive today — all were replaced, mostly with steel. The closest thing left is the 1917 Chickaloon River railroad truss bridge, relocated in 1982 and later roofed to resemble a period covered bridge.
