Historic covered bridges of North Carolina, down to two surviving spans: the Bunker Hill Covered Bridge, possibly the last Haupt truss covered bridge in the United States, and the Pisgah Covered Bridge, a one-lane crossing tucked inside the Uwharrie National Forest.
