The Sunday River Covered Bridge spans the Sunday River in Newry, Oxford County, Maine. Built in 1872 by Hiram York and Levi Eames, it uses a Paddleford truss. Widely known as the Artist's Bridge for the many painters it has drawn, it is considered one of the most photographed covered bridges in Maine. It was closed to vehicle traffic and is preserved as a historic landmark, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. The bridge sits in a scenic setting near the Sunday River valley.
