Guilford and Sangerville, Piscataquis County. Built 1857 (rebuilt 1990), 146 ft over the Piscataquis River. The original was washed away in the flood of 1987 and rebuilt.

Lowes Covered Bridge crosses the Piscataquis River between the towns of Guilford and Sangerville in Piscataquis County, Maine. The original bridge dated to 1857 and used a Long truss. After the historic span was washed away in a 1987 flood, the bridge was rebuilt in 1990 following the same design. It stretches about 146 feet across the river. The bridge remains an important local crossing and a reminder of the region's covered bridge heritage.
