National Register Town Lattice

The Shushan Covered Bridge spans the Batten Kill at the hamlet of Shushan in the town of Salem. Built in 1858, the single span uses a Town lattice truss. Closed to vehicles, it has been preserved and now houses a small local museum. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
