National Register Town Lattice

The Newfield Covered Bridge carries Bridge Street over Cayuga Inlet in the village of Newfield. Built in 1853, it is the oldest covered bridge in New York still open to daily vehicle traffic. The single span uses a Town lattice truss. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
