Hyde Hall Covered Bridge
Otsego County. Built 1825, 53 ft over Shadow Brook. Oldest surviving covered bridge in New York, in Glimmerglass State Park.

The Hyde Hall Covered Bridge spans Shadow Brook within Glimmerglass State Park at the north end of Otsego Lake. Built in 1825 by Cyrenus Clark, it is the oldest surviving covered bridge in New York State and among the oldest in the country. The single span uses a Burr arch truss and now carries pedestrians. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
