The Holliwell Covered Bridge spans the Middle River southeast of Winterset in Madison County, Iowa. Built in 1880, it is the longest of the county's surviving covered bridges at about 113 feet and uses a Town lattice truss. It appeared in the 1995 film The Bridges of Madison County and remains a popular tourist attraction. The bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
