The Hammond Covered Bridge, also called the Hammond Bridge, stands west of Hamilton in Marion County, Iowa, spanning North Cedar Creek. It was built in 1894 by S.F. Collins using a Howe through truss after landowner Samuel B. Hammond petitioned the county for a crossing. A 1977 truck accident closed the bridge for two years before it reopened in 1979, and a newer span now carries vehicle traffic nearby. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998 and remains owned by Marion County.
