The Hogback Covered Bridge crosses the North River northwest of Winterset in Madison County, Iowa. Built in 1884 by Benton Jones, it uses a Town lattice truss and takes its name from the nearby Hogback Ridge. It is one of the six surviving covered bridges in Madison County and remains a well visited tourist attraction. The bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
