Howe Truss National Register

The Buskirk Covered Bridge spans the Hoosic River between Washington and Rensselaer counties at the hamlet of Buskirk. Built about 1857, the single span uses a Howe truss. The red painted bridge remains open to vehicle traffic. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
