Howe Truss National Register

The Laurel Creek Covered Bridge is located near Lillydale, also spelled Lily Dale, in Monroe County, West Virginia. Built in 1911 by Lewis Miller and Robert Arnott, it uses a Howe truss and spans about 22 feet over Laurel Creek. It is considered the shortest covered bridge in West Virginia. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.
