The Concord Covered Bridge crosses Nickajack Creek near Smyrna in Cobb County, Georgia. Built in 1872, the 132 foot span uses a queen post truss reinforced with iron rods. It is one of the very few historic covered bridges in Georgia that still carries daily vehicle traffic. The bridge is the centerpiece of the Concord Covered Bridge Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It remains an active crossing and a cherished local landmark.
