Town Lattice Truss
The Slate Covered Bridge crosses the Ashuelot River in the Westport area of Swanzey. The historic bridge on the site was destroyed by fire in 1993 and rebuilt in 2001 as a Town lattice truss faithful to the traditional form. It is one of several covered bridges along the Ashuelot in Swanzey and carries local traffic.
