The River Road Covered Bridge crosses Perry Stream on River Road near Philbrook Road in Pittsburg, close to where the stream meets the Connecticut River. Built in 1858, it is a small Queen-post through-truss about 51 feet long and 13 feet wide, one of the older covered bridges in the far north of the state.
It is closed to vehicles but open to pedestrians, and once stood shifted off its roadbed to one side, in need of repair.
