The Coombs Covered Bridge carries Coombs Bridge Road over the Ashuelot River in northern Winchester. Built in 1843, it is a single-span Town lattice truss about 107 feet long, with a clear span of roughly 102 feet. It is named for Anthony Coombs, its original builder and owner.
One of the state's small number of surviving 19th-century covered bridges, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 and remains open to traffic.
