Modern timber-framed covered bridge
The Chester Covered Bridge, also called the Wason Pond Covered Bridge, spans Wason Brook at Wason Pond Conservation and Recreation Area in Chester. Built in 2011 by the Timber Framers Guild with community volunteers, it is the newest covered bridge constructed in New Hampshire. A modern timber-framed structure in the traditional style, it is open to pedestrians in the town park.
