The Swiftwater Covered Bridge carries Porter Road over the Wild Ammonoosuc River in the village of Swiftwater in Bath. Built in 1849, it is the fourth bridge on the site, earlier spans dating to about 1810 having been washed away by floods. It is a two-span Paddleford truss with an overall length of about 174 feet, clear spans of roughly 77 and 57 feet, dramatically set above a rocky, rushing stretch of the river.

One of New Hampshire's few surviving 19th-century covered bridges, it remains open to vehicular traffic.
