The Sawyers Crossing Covered Bridge, also known as the Cresson Bridge, carries Sawyers Crossing Road over the Ashuelot River in Swanzey. Built in 1859 to replace an older span, it is a two-span Town lattice truss about 159 feet long, resting on a central pier. It gained a bit of fame in 1953 when it appeared in Chesterfield cigarette advertising, after which the governor presented an honorary deed to the bridge to entertainer Arthur Godfrey.

One of the state's surviving 19th-century covered bridges, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 and remains open to traffic.
