The Prentiss Bridge spans Great Brook just east of Chester Turnpike in a rural setting in southern Langdon. Built about 1874 by Albert S. Granger for roughly $1,062, it is a Town lattice truss just 36 feet long and 15 feet wide, set on stone abutments. At that length it is the shortest 19th-century covered bridge built for a public roadway still standing in New Hampshire.

Bridges are known to have stood on this site since at least 1791. The Prentiss Bridge carried Chester Turnpike until it was bypassed by a modern two-lane bridge in 1955, and it now serves foot traffic only. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
