The Meriden Covered Bridge carries Colby Hill Road over Bloods Brook in the Meriden village of Plainfield, just west of Main Street. Built about 1880, it is a multiple kingpost truss 85 feet long and 16 feet wide, with a 14-foot roadbed carrying a single lane of traffic. Its trusses have 22 panels, each three feet wide, with the chords fastened to the posts by iron rods. It is also known as the Mill Bridge for a former mill that once stood nearby.

One of New Hampshire's few surviving 19th-century covered bridges, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
