History of Geeting Covered Bridge
E.S. Sherman built this bridge in 1894 at a total cost of $2,691. The bridge replaced a ford and foot log crossing. A 1914 windstorm blew off the roof, and in 1969 an over-height truck ripped out the roof framing. Major renovations in 2008 cost $379,753.
