History of Enslow Covered Bridge
Constructed in 1904 by an unknown builder, Enslow Covered Bridge is one of the last covered bridges built in Perry County during the traditional covered bridge era. It underwent major renovation in the late 1990s.
Architecture and Design
The bridge employs a Burr Arch Truss design and measures 110 feet in length and 16 feet in width. A distinctive feature is the adjacent vehicle ford that allows larger farming vehicles to cross Sherman Creek.
