Clark's Bridge was originally built in 1904 in Barre, Vermont, to carry the Barre Railroad over the Winooski River. After the line was abandoned in 1960, the bridge was dismantled, moved to New Hampshire, reassembled, and set over the Pemigewasset River at Clark's Trading Post in North Woodstock in 1965. It is about 116 feet long and built as a Howe truss.

Widely described as the only surviving Howe covered railroad bridge in the world, it remains in active use carrying Clark's short steam railroad across the river, a popular attraction in the White Mountains.
