The Carlton Bridge (also spelled Carleton) carries Carlton Road over the South Branch of the Ashuelot River in East Swanzey, on a site believed to have had a bridge since 1789. Built in 1869, it is about 67 feet long with a clear span of roughly 60 feet, and is the Monadnock region's only surviving 19th-century Queen-post truss covered bridge.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 and remains open to traffic.
