The Bartlett Covered Bridge spans the Saco River just off US Route 302 in Bartlett. Built in 1851, it is a Paddleford truss with added arches, about 167 feet long and 20 feet wide, and is attributed to the Paddleford/Berry school of bridgewrights. The bridge was closed to traffic in 1939 when it was bypassed.
Since 1965 the structure has housed the Covered Bridge Gift Shoppe, and it remains a well-preserved and much-visited example of the Paddleford form. It is open to foot traffic only.
