The Ashuelot Covered Bridge crosses the Ashuelot River on Bolton Road in the village of Ashuelot in Winchester. Built in 1864-65 at a cost of $4,650, it is a two-span Town lattice truss about 178 feet long. It is unusually ornate: rather than being fully sheathed, its roof extends into long eaves and the sides are enclosed only to the height of the handrails, and it carries a central roadway flanked by a covered pedestrian walkway on each side.

One of New Hampshire's finest surviving 19th-century covered bridges, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 and remains open to traffic.
