The Albany Covered Bridge spans the Swift River just off the Kancamagus Highway (NH Route 112) in the White Mountain National Forest, a short distance west of Conway. Built in 1858 at an original cost of about $1,300, it is a Paddleford truss later reinforced with laminated arches, roughly 120 feet long. A sign on the bridge records a major renovation in 1970.

Set among the boulders and pools of the Swift River, it is one of the most photographed covered bridges in New Hampshire and a popular stop for visitors driving the Kancamagus Scenic Byway. It remains open to one lane of traffic.
